Humans drinking water and having fingers and toes tend to overlap too.
Racism and classism tend to overlap.

ok, so do you become more racist the richer you get or the poorer?

I think it tapers off at a certain point as your position becomes more secure, and as you begin to see most people as beneath you, regardless of race.
Trump's base is the white suburban middle class. The people who have something to lose, but are still vulnerable enough that they can imagine being displaced as a real thing to fear.
I think these people are often less comfortable expressing these views in polite company compared to lower class people, of course, but even that's starting to change as Trump and his followers have increasingly normalized a lot of really poisonous racist rhetoric (especially about Latinos).

So then the top 1% wealthiest Americans are the least racist.
Guess I learned something today!
education is the operative factor that makes you less racist. People with college+ tend to be wealthier at this point tho. But then you start contributing more to structural racism rather than individual racism, so it's kinda tough. everyone is racist, basically.
Is it the education that causes that, or the exposure to the 'other'?
