When Oliver Stone (ugh) asked Putin in these Showtime interviews what he thought of Bernie Sanders, Putin replied that the idea of the presidency and the actual job of the presidency are two different things. I think this applies very, very well to both Bernie and Trump.
Highly recommend those interviews btw, Stone looked like a mansplaining moron, but Putin looked like a rockstar.
