The Saudi Prince has deep pockets so we’ll see how it plays out. I don’t imagine the US taking Canada’s side about it so we’ll have to stick to our guns if we truly believe in human rights. But it feels correct. The Saudi massive over reaction to a tweet by a government it has no sovereignty over is a pretty clear message that it’s not the progressive New Europe it was billing itself as.
