More of his signature brand of pretzel logic. An armed guard would lessen the chance, not eliminate it. It could backfire. What if the shooter overpowered the guard? Now he's got another gun. I feel that a lock-out 5 minutes after the start of the service would be a good idea. True, but just talking about the issues isn't doing shit either. We've been talking about gun violence for years and people keep dying. We've been talking about health care forever, and it still sucks. People need to understand the record of those in office. Pointing out their hypocrisy places a light on their deeds so you know who you're voting for. People forget history quick enough as it is. Those congressmen promising to protect pre-existing conditions? It's worth noting that they voted repeatedly to kill it. And the Waltons aren't just going to see the light because of some serious discussion.
If people are too stupid to identify and stop a political hypocrite when they have the chance, then there's nothing else you can really do and they deserve the government they get.

I don't know. You'd think a lot of people would wake up and realize the fiscal conservatives of the 80s or the moral conservatives of the 90s and 00s no longer exist. The GOP has back slid on everything but guns and abortion. And really, conservatives and racists are what got gun control started, and the GOP has been taken by both.
Really, if you guys want gun control just get every non white you know to get an open carry permit and walk around some 50 year old hank and Peggy hill looking people in mass.
Everything will be banned by the end of the year.
