Capcom earned my trust on this with the work they did on SFV.
I don't think the characters are all totally expected. It's not like Ryu and Iron Man. Ultron is new. I could see hawkeye, rocket, and Chris being left out, but they're in. Strider never seems to be a guarantee because of licensing, so it's cool to see that for sure. List pasted below.

But isn't Strider a Capcom character? Why would licensing be an issue?

Hah. I guess I'm just too cynical.
Not sure exactly, but as I understand it the original character was created jointly by Capcom and a manga group. Any game with Strider in it has a copyright line for that group (Moto Kikaku). Maybe it matters, maybe not.

I thought the Manga thing came after the arcade game.
Strider is actually a Mitchell creation, but I'm pretty sure Capcom owns the IP. Otherwise, Cannon Dancer would have been a true Strider game.
