    Yup. Ebert actually once said:

“When you ask a friend if Hellboy is any good, you’re not asking if it’s any good compared to Mystic River, you’re asking if it’s any good compared to The Punisher. And my answer would be, on a scale of one to four, if Superman is four, then Hellboy is three and The Punisher is two. In the same way, if American Beauty gets four stars, then The United States of Leland clocks in at about two.”

I can't comment on the new spidey but neither avengers movies were good.

But I was never a big marvel super hero fan as a kid. I always liked Adam west batman and btas more. So my innerchild doesn't have the same frame of reference.

Maybe if it was 2 hours of Johnny five trying to catch Oscar.

Though it would be cg and I'd die inside because Johnny was an amazing practical effect.

  4. I still dig Avengers 1. Good pacing, lots of action, great moments between most of the characters. Coulson's death was legitimately pretty tense.

  5. Avengers 1 is pretty much perfect for what it is.

  6. It's good in the ways Avengers 2 is not.

  8. Why does every youtube thumbnail look like it's the 90s and it's being generated by a Titlemaker?
