Thread: Xbox One X Box One XBOX Box X One

  1. Other than hololens, all I've read about are headsets from a bunch of consumer electronics companies.

  2. Im expecting those to be some cheap shitty things like Google Daydream.

  3. Sexy specs, but I still don't understand who this is geared toward. Power users already have a gaming PC. Sony has the Japanese exclusives, Nintendo has the Nintendo exclusives, and all the Microsoft exclusives worth playing are ported to PC. I guess if you're looking for a 4K Blu-ray player it's an option?

I love the shit out of mine, and it's flying off the shelves in Japan. I just wish there were more games for it (RE7 scares me because I am weak).

  4. I'd be interested if I had a 4K HDR television, but I don't see that happening within this thing's life cycle.

  5. I'm impressed with the hardware.

  6. I get the VR thing. But for games, I like full compatibility like the PS4 is doing. It should be one set of software, like medium vs high settings on PC.

This seems like a SuperGrafx to me.

  7. What's not compatible?
I had the impression that it would run everything and run it better.

  8. There was a disclaimer that there might be some incompatible titles due to the differences in hardware, but it seems like it will be a small percentage and can be patched.

They're evidently not, they're mid-range, aiming for $350-$400, and they feature inside-out tracking, which is an interesting convenience feature.

Problem is, they've said fuck all about controllers, which aren't going to work with inside-out tracking and are a pretty vital part of the puzzle. There are a lot of questions.

  10. Sounds exciting
