    The Last Night (PC, One)

This is the best new IP I saw from Microsoft's conference. Somewhat strangely (but awesomely), it's Steam, Windows 10, and Xbox.

  2. This looks nuts! Can't wait to see more of it.

  3. This looks really damn good, standout of the conference for sure.

  4. I have no idea what this even plays like, but I've decided it's the sequel to Flashback I've always wanted.

  5. This is probably the first time I've ever been intrigued by a game with that style of pixelly characters. Usually it's an excuse to put out some ugly shit. Here it looks like a stylistic choice and a throwback to Flashback or OOTW for the olds, as others have mentioned.

  6. Nevermind, the designer has said vaguely right-leaning things on Twitter years ago, so now this game needs to be gone.

Also, the premise is apparently an anti-socialist distopia about mankind's ennui once all his needs are met. Which, I guess in fairness, is probably the most un-Cyberpunk premise ever, although its still an interesting enough premise for a work of speculative fiction.

  7. It's very pretty, though. But no, I don't need this game's drama. The consequence of supporting GamerIdiots is I don't need to have anything to do with it. No waving of hands or demand for boycott or anything like that, just moving on.

  8. At worst his comments were naive or ignorant. Everyone says and believes dumb shit at some point as they figure out what's true.

I'm definitely paying full price now.
