I appreciate that they're going back to the drawing board instead of releasing a game that doesn't live up to the series standards.
That being said, lots of Retro dudes that made the original games are gone, so I don't know how to feel about this.

It's good to not release a substandard game but with the Switch already having had a lack of big budget first party releases this past year, it's disappointing to have a major delay.

I'm fine with the delay if it means they're going to do it even better. Last thing I want is another Star Fox Zero.

I don't think it was ever publicly confirmed, but yeah, word is it was Namco Bandai Singapore. Which doesn't really sound to me like a studio you give one of your biggest properties, but they had evidently been recruiting a lot of international talent to work there.
