Thread: Secret of Mana Remake

  1. Secret of Mana Remake

Ok, I'm honestly excited for this one despite the sub-optimal voice acting and wonky character models. Secret of Mana is one of my all-time favorites, period.

This pretty much sums it up for me. Granted, no one here has played this remake (no one knows if it plays well), but these visuals take away a lot of the charm the original has.

  4. They're sure not going to outdo the original's cover art.

Agreed. However, this was the same reaction I had for both Mario and Zelda, and ended up loving them. Although it did make them feel different enough not to be called the same game.

  6. If this has a new translation and has the content that was cut when it went from being a SNES CD game to being a regular SNES game IDGAF how it looks.

Have you seen Square's remakes? None of that is going to happen. It's going to be like their barebones Android ports, except they'll want $20-30 for it since it's on PS4.

This version of the trailer has the most important detail:

    The Steam logo

  9. Hadn't seen that one but assumed it was a given.

At least on steam you can eventually pay the $5 that it will probably be worth.
