Thread: What Are You Playing (Autumn, 2017)?

  1. When I get home from class, I'm gonna be playing Monster Hunter. Glad I have a ps4 honestly

  2. Need a new Switch timesink, and it seems like a dry period at least until Bayonetta and Owlboy come out next month. For now I'm playing Celeste and Oxenfree and hoping they can hold my interest until then

I don't hear voices the same way Senua does; it's more of a feel-sensation and inner dialogue with an unanswering black hole that has various names. Characters with mental illness are nearly always caricatures of our worst attempts at understanding. Senua is not.

Anyway, the acting and dialogue are absolutely impeccable. That this doesn't win every award ever made for audio design is a crime.

It's 30% off on PSN right now and you should play it.
    What he said.

Seriously, there is no other game like this out there. And it plays pretty well, too.

    Play it.

    Celeste is really good
    Donk

  5. NBA Jam TE (AC) - IrishNinja mentioned Jam TE in another thread. So, I just had to. Good game... thanks. Played as the Philadelphia 76ers, winning by a point on the last shot with about a couple seconds to go. 76ers 58, Mavericks 57. LOL at Dallas trying to shoot from far across the court at the end & failing miserably.
Trails of Cold Steel (PC) - Late in the last chapter. Where I'm at is right after Heimdallr gets invaded and you find out who C really is. Then look out, Trista is next.

  6. Big head mode, or no?

Ha! In my Jam experience, under those conditions the CPU will usually make that impossible shot.

I read the developers hired people to advise them on mental illness. The game looks cool. I bought it and will start it soon.

  9. CELESTE IS SO GOOD I LOVE IT

I’ll be under a single block, jump up and try to land on the block but either move too much to the opposite side so I jump completely past it, or not move enough and land back where I originally jumped from. Annoying as heck!
It's the SNES Classic. I noticed right away... I can't play Mario World on the thing.

It's kind of amazing they let it launch like this. It's not a big deal for something like Chrono Trigger, but precise platforming... it's disappointing in that regard.
