Thread: Limited Edition Street Fighter II 30th Anniversary cart released for the SNES.

  1. PC gaming seems like his first love, recall a video where he regretted ditching all his PC boxes to have everything in a binder. I like Metal Jesus, the guy covers a wide spectrum of systems and him and his crew seem to genuinely enjoy what they are doing. It’s a refreshing change to the tone of cynicism in many Youtuber channels. I can forgive blips like the Turbografx Guy as it seems like a case where they needed a local person with a actual Turbo collection..... expertise aside. As far as the hidden gems vids, I’ve yet to meet anyone who played Nier, Enslaved, etc. Broad knowledge of the nerd elite vs information for the general audience.

I don't mind Metal Jesus - he seems nice and supposedly does a lot for his little crew. Like pay for little vacations and to go to conventions and such. I dunno - I just can't hate him even though his content isn't original in the least.

Game Sack is where it's at, however. <3 them.
I believe I've said this before, but MJR seems like a dude I would totally have fun getting a beer and hanging out with. I can't deal with his youtube content though. Game Sack is pretty fantastic though.

  3. I really liked Game Sack to start with, but the one dude's schtick of facetiously reviewing games like he's reading a bad 1st grade essay really started to wear thin.

"In this game, your ship can shoot up. It has lots of graphics, and that's cool. You die pretty easily, and I didn't really like that. Overall, it's a pretty good game."

  4. Sad thing is, I’m not sure which one you’re talking about.
The one that had horseshoes for braces or the bald one?

I like it for the production value and the fact that they actually play the games and talk about them.
I’m guessing you’re referring Dave (the bald one) as he is the weak link. He says the same shit over and over. He brings it down, but it’s still better than any other game centric channel.

  5. I’m getting too old for ironically bad content. Red Letter Media can have some decent movie commentary, but all their original content is terrible. They could at least try.
