It lasted 2 years with a whopping 7 games. Beast Busters: The 2nd Nightmare, Buriki One, Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition, a couple of 3D Samurai Shodown 64s, 2 racers- Road's Edge & Xtreme Rally. Wild Ambition is kind of meh to me anyway- I'd rather play RB2.
For 3D games at the time, SNK should've partnered with either Namco or Sega as a licensee rather than bothering with HNG 64.

  4. Those games were all terrible.

  5. In a different timeline they skipped that shit and went straight to KOF XII, preventing many atrocities that we've lived through and continue to live through.

  6. I really have 0 interest in this thing sadly.

  7. Better Idea: Give me a backlit Neo Geo Pocket Color with everything pre-loaded and promise some new games for it.

This is true, but I also think the bigger issue was that the hardware was already horribly out of date by the time they were released. If the hardware had been better they probably would have got better at doing 3d games. IIRC the games were pretty much Playstation level of quality while a lot of the other arcade games at the time were a least Dreamcast quality, and the 2d games were mind blowing.
