Thread: I gave up soda.

  1. I gave up soda.

    I gave up:

    Soda
    Diet Soda
    Caffiene Free Diet Soda
    "Fake" Drinks like Fuitopia and such
    Iced Tea
    Coffee
    basically anything but 100%juice, Milk and water.

    And 90% of what I drink is water.

    I have to say I feel SOOOO much healthier.

    I drink lots of water every day, my skin feels better, I have more energy, and I feel refreshed all day.


    I found out why even caffiene free diet sodas are bad for you, so I switched to Water. Water is the only drink we are built to drink throughout our entire life. Its good for you.

    Just thought I'd share, what do you guys drink/not drink?

    PS: This is not a "You should give it up because I did thread" I can care less what you guys drink

    All I drink now is Water, Gatorade, OJ, Milk, and Alcoholic beverages.

    I can't even stomach soda anymore, unless it's cherry 7up

  3. I don't drink much soda myself if i can help it. I tend to just go for water, juice, and Snapple. Of course, Corona's are always good to have here and there...wish I had one right now actually

  4. I'll drink pretty much anything if I have to, but I stick with water 99% of the time. Nothing hits the spot like good old fashioned water.

  5. i gave up sodas and carbonated beverages last year...occasionally I've have ONE - but only in special circumstances. That compared to the amount I used to drink is like a speck of dust to a mountain.

    I feel healthier without sodas as well, in fact drinking them now tends to make me feel worse than I ever remember feeling from sodas. Case in point, going out to a restuarant and having water with your meal makes you feel satisfied but not bloated up afterwards. Drinking soda on the other hand makes you wanna lay down and die.

    My soda drinking days are pretty much over.

    In that case I usually just drink mostly water and milk and tea. Every now and again I indulge myself with some Jolt: Red Eye

  9. i've pretty much given up soda as well, but coffee? i don't think i could handle losing that one

    Currently I mostly drink water.

    I drink a Soda now and then if I need to try to stay awake and I try to drink some Juice every now and then.

    I want to start drinking different varieties of Tea too since many seem to have good health properties.

    One thing I really haven't had for a while is Kool-Aid.
    Taking it one day at a time.
