I also can't wait for KoF2k1. I still don't own a MVS cab (sooooon), so the DC has been my haven for KoF. Getting 2K/2K1 released on DC has been beyond sweet.

Hey, I still love ya. Yeah I'm glad to get KoF on DC. We have a cabinet in store, but KoF 2000 and 2001 have been pretty pricey for MVS so we haven't picked them up yet. Now I'll finally get a chance to play them.

KoF 2001 has the ugliest character portrait art, EVER!

My KOF2000 is shipping with Ikaruga so I won't be playing it for a while but if the music restarts between rounds on teamplay, I will barely play the game. Please be as good as the Garou and KOF99 ports... Last Blade 2 (delayed voices and no arcade stick support) and KOF98 (restarting music) were nasty. On paper the port looks amazing with all new strikers and backgrounds so if Playmore don't screw up then I will email NCS my preorder for KOF2001. Hopefully the Dreamcast versions will outsell the PS2 ones that way Sega's box stands a chance of getting Metal Slug 3 (long shot I know).

I can't imagine that KoF2K will go back to the reloading bg music of Dream Match.

LB2 doesn't work with an arcade stick?!

Last Blade 2 will only allow you to map to the A,B,X,Y buttons and not the Z and C buttons forcing you to play in a square. I like to use A,X,Y,Z so I can position my hand in an arc with a finger/thumb on each button. Being limited to a square shape of buttons cramps my hands and fucks up my wrists. Inexcusable and stupid oversight by SNK considering the Neo Geo sticks' buttons are in a line/arc. I swear SNK did these retarded little things on purpose either that or their port teams have zero talent. Pisses me off no end that I can get arcade perfect Street Fighter 3 on DC but KOF98 is better on PSone...

Ah, I see.

Doesn't make a huge diffirence to me though, I use the Ascii FT pads, and have never tried to remap the buttons.

Sucks you can't change 'em though.
