I've probably played Dodonpachi for less than an hour- I know I need to play this longer to get the hang of it, but it's so darn frustrating when I can't hold a repectable chain. I like the game on paper, but it's yet to click with me. I think it's a case of me not being good enough to
really play it yet however.
Example: I bought Mars Matrix the day it came out, played it, liked it. Dropped it for quite awhile, played Gunbird 2 and a ton of other shooters
a lot. Last week a friends younger cousin was over playing my games (side note: Last week a friends younger cousin was over playing my games-I think I've inadvertently created another shooter fiend, mostly on account of that's about all I have. He even flips the TV! I didn't even push him into it, I swear

)
Anyway, after gathering more experience I came back to MM last week, and I appreciate it so much more. I've been having a lot more fun wreaking havoc in it lately. And by playing "that dot game" so goddamn much (slowing down the dot when appropriate) I think I have a better idea how to approach DDP...
