What the fuck is that thing!!!!!!??????

...and where do I aquire one?
It's the Evangelion Premium Box. You may be able to get it from http://www.rightstuf.com separately (no where else sells it without the DVDs -- same with the Perfect collection box). It IS metal, it's laser-engraved. The white space you see on the pics is actually the silver-ish metal surface -- the pics are just a Photoshop'd rendition. Personally, I wasn't too excited when I finally saw it. I like the Perfect col. box much better, so I downgraded my order.

Quite frankly, I probably should have gone with a packaged boxset. In the end, it will cost me more to buy all the DVDs separately plus the box with the remastered disc one. However, I already had disc 2, but I could have sold it... eeh. *bonks self*

  3. i think the metal box looks awesome. and Paul Champagne makes very nice metal boxes if you ever been to his site.

  4. Definately Mikhal. However, I'm not really that wowed by the choice of artwork for that Eva box. I think the cardboard one looks much cooler.

  5. Well, just placed my order for it. Should've done it sooner, they raised the price $1.49 to $92.99. Ah well
    omg TNL epics!

  6. you can get the Eva series here in Australia for around $10 US each. Recently, I got a DVD with the Eva movies on it imported from beijing or something for around $8 US.

  7. Those would be pirate copies. There's just no way it's that cheap...
    Boo, Hiss.
