Panic Room: David Fincher's Latest Salvo

Saw it this weekend....absolutely stunning. Great script, acting, and of course directing. IMO Fincher's got quite a resume (Alien 3, Seven, The Game, Fight Club, and now PR), and he's my favorite director ever.

Jodie Foster was great, as was Forest Whitaker (why isn't he in more stuff?), and even Dwight Yoakam did a great job. The whole theme of entrapment and clautrophobia was masterfully executed.

The ending seemed a little abrupt and tacked on, but that's what DVDs are for, right?

I highly recommend it - best film I've seen since Memento. Anyone else had the pleasure?
