...just got done checking this one out...it's not all that bad, but not really good enough to impress...even though all the screen shots i saw of this original looked really good, this game doesn't look much different from the first (see very first gen)...dialog and game flow doesn't seem much different either...combat is done in realtime this time around. kinda like it, but i miss the old chain system of the first. and from what i played in the demo, there was alot of attack, attack, attack, followed by taking a blow, attacking another three times, and...well you get the picture...in a nut shell it's more of the first with a few tweaks from what i've seen, and really nothing more to win over people who didn't get into the first...
I'm disappointed that Summoner 2 isnt coming out for PC like the first one did. Summoner on PC was far superior to the PS2 version..higher res, smooth framerate, a nice baldur's gate style point and click style interface...I really enjoyed it. Well..hopefully Volition will make a nice PC port..I would certainly pick it up.
