Picked up Beach Spikers today....

Yeah, it's on the Cube - and has one of those ONLY FOR banners (Soccer Slam didn't). Most US stores got it yesterday, 8/14.

It's VERY fun.

Yes, its for GameCube, and its out in the US, it is very fun.

How are the female model characters in this game?

I'm gonna return Super Monkey Ball to Blockbuster this weekend and probably pick up this game. (30 day game pass rules)

Femlae characters are pretty good, no bounciness for anyone who cares, and the characters hug after a victory/loss. Hair is animated nicley, as is the other movements, textrures/skin tones fit well with the models themselves.

Sega trounces over Tecmo, as much as some of the geeks and fanboys on this board make me want to hate Sega and the idioticly blind, hentai watching, pimply faced wanna be Japanese following they've accumulated, i cant deny these guys are the masters of arcade gameplay...i take Beach Spikers over DOAV.

No bounce to be seen, but if you must know, certain players have, um, tan lines on their kiesters, if you know what I mean.

Actually, though, there isn't a whole lot of deviation from one character model to the next, body-wise. Yeah, they all wear different uniforms and have different skin tones/hairstyles/shades/hats, but they're all pretty identical. You won't get distracted trying to check out their assets...they look like you'd expect nicely toned atheletes to look, no more, no less.

My World Tour team is Winona (as in Ryder - yeah she's a thug, but she's a gorgeous thug) and Christy (as in Ricci - didn't have enough spaces for Christina). Thanks to the hundreds of facial options, I got em pretty close to reality.

I can't stand Christina Ricci. And Wynona sucked in Mr. Deeds...she should stick to drama.
