cool devices is totally hardcore. makes tentacle rape look like a day at preschool. most episodes deal with bdsm, and about 95% of them deal with nonconsensual situations which always end up in rape of some form. out of the 11 episodes, i really only enjoyed about 4 or 5. worth the full price ? IMO, probably not. i'd try to search for a cheaper deal. worth watching, but owning... depends on how much you're into hentai. total fan - buy it. casual - it's a toss up.

But without a doubt the finest manga I have read it Berserk. It's a crying shame no one else here has mentioned it(and yet several mentioned the anime). It's got some truly badass artwork and one of the deepest and best thought out stories in all of comics. IT's been running for 13 years now, and when I go back and read the first volumes, I see things hinted at that are just being revealed in the latest issues! Anyway, random scanage:
