My friend just bought a 42" Samsung DLP (720p) for 1200. All black, looks hot. Has the game mode and 2 HDMI ports along with the usual connections. Stands are usually under $200 for that size.

The stand I got free with a 32 inch crt purchase a few yeasr back from best buy, i think it was 120 regularly. think im gonna go buy a new one and an audio pier
its only 3 feet. one side is neon and the other is a big nintendo logo
