Favourite GBA game

¬ What is your favourite GBA game so far?
I tried to pick the games I thought would get the most votes. Sorry no there is no "other" option, you can reply with a write-in vote tho'. Also, I only considered original games which have been released thus far in NA. So, no ports or imports. Games like Mario Advance, Fire Emblem, Shining Soul, Rockman Zero, etc, don't count.

ps. Argh... I can\'t decide between Golden Sun and Advance Wars!

As much as I loved Castlevania COTM I can't help but vote for Wario IV. The best 2D sidescroller in a long while. It really is a great game.

1, I spelled "favourite" like an English person, you know the inventors of the English language (the language that USers have been bastardising for centuries).

Also, 'favourite' in French is 'favori' - there is no U, ironically enough.


2, Radaxian is the name of Alex Kidd's planet, sometimes known as Miracle World.

I have to choose Advance Wars as my favourite, because it's the only game from that list I actually own/played.

Have a feeling Castlevania HOD, Metriod Fusion, Starfi, or Kirby will be taking my top GBA spot very soon.

Right now I'm going with Klonoa, it's been the perfect game when I only have a few minutes to spend. I enjoyed Castlevania, but the combo of dark screen and really challenging later parts took it down a few notches. Since picking up GBA I've also been exploring great GB and GBC libraries as well. Zelda DX is wonderful. *-neo

The games on the horizon which are most likely to become my next favourite GBA game are either Fire Emblem or Golden Sun The Lost Age. Perhaps Metal Slug or one of the Klonoa games might take the honour as well, and if Sega ever does release a Wonderboy game it'll definitely be a strong contender too. There are so many good games that it's hard to keep up.

If Mario Kart was an option, Id probably pick that. Otherwise, Advance Wars all the way.

It's a hard toss up between Sonic Advance, Golden Sun and Advance Wars but I pick Advance Wars.

Don't worry there Chux, you're not the only one with some sense around here. Advance Wars, CotM and Golden Sun are certainly all fine games, but when they get more votes than Tactics Ogre something is horribly, horribly wrong. Most likely the poor saps haven't gotten to play it, because of the low print run.

I have spent more time loving/playig Advance Wars in the past 8 months than ANY other game. I still can't beat the "Dire Range" map in the War Room.

I voted for Tactics Ogre. Not just a great GBA game, I have a feeling it will be one of my favorite games for quite a while.

Circle of the Moon was okay, but I didn't think it was as awesome as everyone said. Of course, I had to play using only my hearing like the blind ninja master, so who knows? Golden Sun was something else, though.

Castlevania:CotM... but Mega Man: Battle Network gets a close runner-up. Depending on how I like Harmony of Dissonance, that may topple CotM, and afterwards probably toppled by Fusion.

so far its Circle of the Moon for me. Hopefully Harmony of Dissonance and Metroid Fusion shall kick its ass off my favorite list. I still need to get Golden Sun and maybe Advance Wars.
