This announcement could go a long way in helping me decide which one of the 3 to buy first...
yeah the news about Shining Force 4 is old but i'm hoping theres some footage or at least some sort of announcement on what system it'll be on

Unfortunately the answer is no. Here is the scoop from Shining Force Central:

Moogie: \"Would Camelot like to continue to work on the series?\"

Taguchi-sama: \"Shining Series is now developed by Sega. Such as the Shining Soul released a while ago. As well as the new Shining Force game announced in May. I regret to tell you we are not participating in any Shining Series development now. (I can\'t go into more detail on the reason why. Sorry about that.) Although it\'s developed by different staff, it\'s a good thing Sega is continuing the Shining Series. Right now we are putting our endeavor on making Golden Sun Series Camelot\'s new RPG masterpiece, or even exceed the success of Shining Series.

And when playng Golden Sun, don\'t you feel the true spirit of Shining Series is continued in Golden Sun? At least that how we, the development team, felt. \"

GC or Xbox would be nice simply to see strat-RPG action on something other than PS2.

    *looking at Capcom's list*

Hmmm Glass Rose, sounds interesting, hope it's not just a another name for the crap DC digital comic they put out last year. *-neo

  5. Well, I hope SF4 will be on Cube, or at least on PS2. Why limit the game with GBA(Konami is allready done it with 2 CV games ). You justt can do MUCH more with more powerful systems: bigger worlds, better graphics, music, possible bigger story and environments.

I keep my fingers crossed for Cube release

  6. Somebody pinch me because I must be dreaming, Shining Force IV ohhh yeah!

  7. *neeeeeds pics/movies/etc*

I hope Sega brings Camelot back in to do SF4. That would make the GameCube the likely home.

Edit: Doh! I just read the rest of the thread.

  9. God I hope it isn't GBA though, I want console games and I couldn't bear to see a THQ translation

  10. A console game would be nice. If only to see spells like Blaze 4 being done with todays power.

    A is for action
