got to see ring 2 finally. ring 2 was great, but i can't say it's better than the first. but it's still great in its own right. this disc also doesn't have any special features. too bad, cuz the pal version of the original (IIRC from reading about it) comes with the footage that's on the tape. spooky shit i heard too. i'm pretty sure the disc also isn't a legit copy.

Now you got to see Ring 0. I heard it also pretty good, and its a prequel to the original RIng, and tells the story of the Sadoko(if I get her name right) girl.

can't find a copy of ring 0 on ebay. at least not yet. and i also read somewhere that someone else has the rights to the originals, so that should be some good news for a domestic release.

I work as a projectionist and I got to sit in on a screening of The Ring, and the coolest part about this flick was the almost Exorcist like subliminal (sp?) effects. Go see it, even if you don't think you'll get freaked out...you will, I know I was.
