More cars, levels and most importantly - no need for passwords!

THQ has announced it will produce a sequel to its hit racing title GT Advance for release this summer. GT Advance 2 will be a localized import version of Advance Rally, a rally racing game developed by the same team as the original GT Advance.

GT Advance 2 will have more than 15 different rally cars, each with different handling, grip, acceleration, and maximum speed. Players will race across more than 42 tracks spanning 14 different territories, each with differing conditions ranging from snow, rain and sun. The game will even have head-to-head two player link cable support along with the seven other single player modes. Unlike the original game released in June 2001, the sequel will feature battery save. No more passwords!
