Thread: DVD cases vs. Jewel cases (or what case to you prefer?)

  1. Smaller is better, as it takes up less space. And I like the look of jewel cases all lined up. It should be universal.

    Jewel. More compact=easier to organize!

Oh, and unlike DVD Cases, jewel cases may be fragile, but are easy as all hell to replace. I have shoeboxes full of the bastards.

  3. Jewel cases are too brittle and therefore suck. They seem to crack whenever they feel like it. DVD cases don't have this problem.

Where are my Saturn and Dreamcast games at now? They are inside a "CD Wallet" thing- well, most of them are.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  4. Once again this "Kidnemo" proves himself to be rubbish at everything and wrong, wrong, KROOONG. DVD cases get damaged easier than your "jewel cases"? I think not, my friend! DVD cases are made out of nice, sensible, resilient plastic, whereas jewel cases are made out of a ridiculous polymer that cracks when breathed upon. Maybe in your DEMOCRACIES you cannot find room for your DVD cases, but in civilised Communist lands such as mine, the wealth is shared and so is the storage space. ADIEU.

    Toothbrush.

I never have CD cases crack in my care. If they get here uncracked, they stay that way.

No it isn't made of a toothbrush, friend!

  7. I can't argue with that.

I have no idea what's going on.

  9. Don't forget to bring a towel...

You weren't the first to mention this but I'm singling you out just because I don't like you. j/k j/k

Easy to replace huh? Tell that to my multi-disc holders that Squaresoft packages all their CD's in. My Final Fantasy cases come in non-standard BULKY cases that are not the norm.

DVD cases do not break as easily as jewel cases. And the fact that you need to easily replace jewel cases proves the point that DVD cases are better because you rarely need to replace them (so far in my experience).

And why is the NGPC clamshell case so praised?! The GB clamshells were here first!!!
