Thread: A new light inside my PS2!

  1. A new light inside my PS2!

Now that I got my Network Adapter I see a orange light every once in awhile inside the front vents. Very odd. I also noticed that when you push the reset button the system turns off now. At first I though my PS2 was making a spark cause of that orange light. Anyone else see it?

  2. Good I wasn't seeing things, mine does that now too...

  5. Alright, I saw the light once, and never again. Thought I was seeing things, but as for the reset, I have the same symptoms as John does.

    I don't have a network adaptor.

    I hate you all.

  8. my nic card has an orange light in it so its prolly the same thing. i noticed wgen my bro got his network stuff all set up (with the network disc) he couldnt pop that disc out and put another in. it would give him a "network disc not found" error or such and wouldnt boot any other discs until he completely shut the system down from the back.

  9. I saw the orange light shine when I first setup my Network Adapter, and also noticed that the fan sounds a little different now. Anyone else notice the new PS2 hum?

  10. nope, my PS2 sounds the same. But the new light is FREAKY!! I thought it was a warning light pointing to an imminent PS2 meltdown.
