Thread: Video games which feature real life occupations.

  1. Video games which feature real life occupations.

I know this is a silly thread, but I’m bored.

Let’s see how many games we can list which feature you playing as some sort of real life, or gross exaggeration of an actual job. I think we can forego “professional athlete“, and other real general things like "military officer".

    I’ll get the ball rolling:

Taxi Driver: Crazy Taxi series, Smashing Drive, GTA2 and 3
Pizza Man: Radikal Bikers, GTA Vice
Paramedic: GTA3, (What was the name of the Sega Ambulance game?)
    Zoologist : Jambo Safari
    Pilot: Airline Pilot
    Fireman: Brave Fire Fighters

    Okay, your turn.

    Forklift Driver - Shenmue

This thread makes me wish Space Taxi would either get a sequel or become a real occupation.

  3. Those Tokyo Bus Driver games on the DC.

  4. Boomangah - Professional ass poker
    Segagaga - sega employee.

  8. Wasn't that ass poking game called Boompaboompa? Not that it matters though. I'd poke someone in the eye with a stick to see that game in real life though. Who comes up with an idea like that, and who gives the green light to make it?

    Demolition worker: Blast Corps.
Serving community service by cleaning graphitti: Mario Sunshine

I wish some company would dare releasing Boonga-boonga outside of Japan. That would be too funny.
