Is it possible to hook a computer up to a cabinet?

I am interested in eventually getting two cabinets. One MVS cabinet and one 6 button Street Fighter type cabinet.

I fear the suicidal nature of capcom boards, and wish to stick a computer running Kawaks in the SF cabinet.

(If it makes you feel any better, yes I plan on buying the boards anyway)

I was wondering... is this possible? How would one go about doing it?

just do a search for "MAME cabs" or something like that. Running MAME in a cabinet output to a standard RGB monitor is a a pretty popular thing nowadays. You should be able to find lots of info on it.

edit: to cut overzealous correctors off at the pass, I realize he doesn't want to use MAME. But nonetheless much of the setup should be very similiar if not identical to MAME cabs...
