Same with Panzer Saga's Tower lever.. especially when your with Azel on that the over thingy.... everything looked exactly the same and it was ultra easy to get lost and frustrated.

true. there were too many instances where im plodding along one of the indoor levels thinking "didnt i see this same hallway and room" about a million times. but i loved the outdoor stages.

I personally just don't think its THAT long. I'm not saying I'm some sort of long and drawn out endless dungeon maze master either. However, I have played Halo in and out in all the settings, and the Library just doesn't get to me. On the other hand, I've played plenty of games (mostly rpgs) where I wish the dungeons were half as big as they ended up being. I enjoy the Library as the nonstop wave upon wave of death level.

i didnt mind the only carrying 2 guns thing yes that does add strategy just make the guns more interesting
i dont know i like the weapons in the turok games theyre interesting they add to the game instead of watching the enemie die the same way for the 50000 time with the assualt rifle why not use posion arrows and make them throw up till they die
or use a weapon that lifts them up and you smack them into a wall
lots of good weapons in turok evolution bungie could learn a few things![]()
The Library blew. I also didn't like the fact that they reused so many levels. Still, it's a damn fine game, and easily the best console-only FPS game. Co-ops a blast, too.
Edit: I know it's coming out for PC.
Johnpv: I play the hell out of FPS games ON the PC and consoles and Halo is easily up there. I wouldnt say its as good as NOLF (the best SP FPS out there) but its up there. It certainly beats the hell out of the garbage that passes for console FPS games these days.
The trick here on legendary is to just hide in one of the long corners so that the first guy that comes down the chute doesn't see you. Once all the others come down, and you stay hidden and don't make noises, they won't go looking for you. When the time is up and guilty is ready to open the doors, run like mad past the once-locked doors and get to a better position to waste them without exposing yourself, or just keep going. I found that I could never totally survive long enough on some of these bits if I tried taking them all down without first hiding and waiting for the doors to open. There is just not enough room or cover to protect you from them all. On legendary difficulty you really have to behave more like a commando (hide, then hit and run) than some guns-blazing psycho with unlimited health if you want to win consistantly.hearing Guilty Spark say "wait here while I open the doors...hahahah" and you're like "you muthafuckin prick, thanks for the 2,000 flood I have to kill now" and then you get through to the next room, which looks EXACTLY like the last and Guilty Spark says "I have to open this door, wait here. Don't get killed now .... hahaha" and you start shooting in vein at that little bitch. You do this like 40 times.
It IS a good challange though, but still unnessiarily repetitive.
Not to mention helps you do attack combos much easier when there is only 2 gun to swap with.i didnt mind the only carrying 2 guns thing yes that does add strategy just make the guns more interesting
Especially for elites which dodge like crazy.
Charged blast, (instantly depletes shield, and causes hitstun long enough) followed by a quick swap to the pulse rifle to finish them off, can never be done easier with a 'more than 1 weapon to swap with' system. Combined with mellee attacks and the ability to simulataneously throw sticky grenades while enemies are stunned, I find it almost gives the game a fighting game quality to it all. Try swapping weapons without fucking up the sequence in other fps and you'll be dead or have lost half your health before you know what you're doing because of all the extra weapons you need to cycle through. Still would have loved to see a 'weapon in each hand used simulataneously' though. (remember the cheats in GE? that was fun holding and using 2 weapons at the same time)
IMHO id play Turok Evolution over Halo any day
the Co-op was cool and id like to see it in more FPS but im sorry the game just didnt do it for me
give me Half Life, or Turok Evolution, or Tribes 2
hell id rather play Team Fortress Classic than single player halo
but thats me
like i said yes the 2 guns at once thing is good but make the guns interestingOriginally posted by GameHED

I vote for 1 for Flame Thrower to be added. Next, I would like to use the feul cannons that the Guardians use. A minigun would do well also, but make it so mobility goes down when you use it. Next, there should be remote mines, that'd be nice. Anyone else have some suggestions?

the thing with the mini gun would be kinda be like how Team Fortress Classic is you start shooting the mini gun and you move sooo slow
hmmm other weapons i really liked the alternate fire for the grenade launcher in bond it would land and break into 5 smaller grenades and youd get some huge ass explosions from it
i love the robotic spiders you can use in Turok Evolution
i mean even modifications of whats in there allready would be cool (for halo 2)
maybe a charge blast kind of weapon where when you hit the enemies with it it like charges their body and the blow up i dont know just throwing ideas out there
think id have to sit down when its now 3 30 am and think about this
but i would like to see something more interesting weapon wise
