Well, as long as I can't hear it I'll remain sane.

  3. I had a pair of the Agetec sticks too.

Got rid of them in favor of the Ascii FT pads.

I hate using sticks unless they're attached to a cabinet.

  4. Okay the agetec sticks are...drum roll please $50.00 each at TRU. They still have 3 of them.

  5. $50? Woo! Um... er...

Think they'll be there in a day or two while I see if my finances are actually that good...?

Actually, I picked up a stick today, Promax or something like it. Ran all of $10, though it's hardly the greatest stick I've ever seen. Promax Enforcer? Something like that. The stick has a bit much play and the buttons are stiff, but I'm guessing the buttons will clean up nicely with play.

Let me think a bit on the Ascii sticks. If someone else grabs them first, oh well. $50 is a bit more than I think I have right now, no matter how much I want a good quality stick. $60 for Ikaruga plus $7.61 s&h plus $15 for a DC-X plus $10 for a cheap stick is a lot of money. That's $92! Eep!

  6. I thought it was steep too, considering thats what I paid for one of them like 2 or 3 years ago.

  7. Side question: How's the DC Panther Pad? It's the one with the trackball and is supposedly good for FPS games. My local EB has one new pretty cheap and I'm thinking of getting it.

  8. Hey guys if you still want the agetec dc stick, I'm willing to sell mine for $30. It's still in the box and looks minty. PM me.

  9. I've never used a Panther for the DC (or played any FPS on it other than Outtrigger - those belong on the PC IMO) but I used the original Panther on the PC back when Unreal was first released. It took a while to get used to the thing, but it was really quite accurate and flexable. Short of a mouse and keyboard the only thing I'd ever play a FPS on (assuming it wasn't designed from the beginning for a pad). Should also be nice for flight stuff, what with all the triggers and hat switches....
