Thread: Dreamcast import list of stuff I need to buy

  1. Dreamcast import list of stuff I need to buy

Damn you, DC-X! I was only mildly discontent not doing imports on the Dreamcast, but now that I've bought you for Ikaruga you've opened up a minor floodgate of games I need to get.

    Bomber Hehhe ($45)
    Lost Golem ($39)
    Space Channel 5 Part 2 ($69)
    Tako no Marine ($44)
    Zero Gunner 2 ($54)

That's $251 +s/h, and somehow I doubt those prices will be dropping soon. And it's also the short list from a few minutes browsing around various online places. (BH, SC52, ZG2 from VGD, Lost Golem from NCSX, TnM from Wolfgames)

-sigh- I'm never going to be rich, am I?

    James

  2. I'm in the same boat... I only have 4 DC import so far, but there are at least 5-10 I want to get. In addition to what you listed I want Napple Tale, Twinkle Star Sprites, Culdcept II, and others...

Btw, Get Cosmic Smash. It can usually be had for only $30u or so...

  3. I was thinking about ordering a few as well. Space Channel 5 Prt. 2 was one but... $69? Damn.
I thought you were gay.... i guess not.

  4. Cosmic Smash is the only DC import I don't have that interests me. Does anyone know of any other DC shmups or platformers that are import only? I have Napple Tale and Zero Gunner 2 (both are awesome). What else is there?

  5. Puzzle Fighter for DC is a must if you like the PSX one. IT's a very thorough update.

    Due to:

    6800 Yen MSRP
    D-Direct Only Release.

I paid $69 for my copy. I still stand by my statement that it's the best game released this year.

Tronix ( http://www.tronixweb.com ) seems to have it for a bit cheaper, but everytime I glance there, they don't have it in stock.

  7. I know you didn't ask, but here are my thoughts on the games I played on your list.

Bomber Hehhe ($45) - I'd recommend you try this before you buy it, but it's an import so... Anyway, it's a nice novelty game, but far from great. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it. As unique as the concept is, it could've been pulled off a lot better.

Lost Golem ($39) - Great game.

Zero Gunner 2 ($54) -One of my favorite shooters on Dc next to Ikaruga and Mars Matrix. A little too easy though.

  8. Space Channel 5 Part 2 is well worth the $69 I paid for it, one of the best DC games IMHO.

  9. hmm. I have Frame Gride, Sakura Taisen 3 (how did 4 turn out?), Vampire Chronicles, Segagaga, and Napple Tale.

    Waste of money.

  10. Ill take FG, Napple Tale and SGGG off your hands ^_^

    Sakura Taisen 4 = a whole 3 battles, 17 endings though.
