Thread: Sites for reading up on imports

  1. Sites for reading up on imports

Would any of you know of sites that have a decent amount of info on Playstation and Saturn imports? I remember a saturn that rated games on import friendliness and such, but by now(3-4 years ago)its long gone. Also, what is a good website translator?

  2. Why don't you start such a site? Or just ask us on the forum about specific games...

http://www.jvgfanatic.com/ has some reviews... I know Sidez chills on their forums too...

  3. We haven't updated in awhile but we have tons of reviews on Playstation and Saturn import games (among other consoles). That site you might ask? Look in my sig!

  4. I have too many games that I want to find out about. That and there are a few that I am almost sure no ones played or heard of. Good idea though.

I'll shoot one from the hip right now: Anyone ever play Neorude? it was made by Technosoft, and for some reason the little description in the back of Gamefan got me curious.

  5. Heh... sorry I added that to my post after my 1st post. HLW isn't crazy folks, I probably submitted while he was typing his reply.

Nope, never heard of that. Edit: searched Google... only english review I could find was a broken link. Every other page is Japanese. I don't think any translators are very good unfortunately.

  6. The Japan Gaming section at Classic Gaming has always been one of my favorites, I use them to reference alot of stuff

  7. Lordmrw,
Sadly, I've never played that game, so I can't be of much help in regards to it. However, please feel free to visit my site and check out my games lists. Email me, or post here if you see any games you are curious about. I will write either a review or impressions(Depending upon my experience with the game) on these for you(As long as you don't send me a list with 200 games on it) I realize I am not the best writer but I am sure you can still extract some info from my reviews. Anyway, as I finish them I will post them to my site and http://www.jvgfanatic.com . I hope this is of some help to you.

I haven't written anything in a while due to some health issues(among other things), but I think it's about time I started again. So, like I said, if there are any import games I own that you are curious about, let me know.

  8. Coolness. Thanks. I should have the list by tomorrow. I realize I've been here for about 6 hours and I want to get some game time in before I sleep.
