A new Castlevania Chronicles on PS2?

Well according to the new PSM (yeah yeha i know its PSM) anyway they claim the next game is going to be Drac X with a much higher level graphics update then what was seen in the first Chronicles game

they also make claims that its allready up and running on development hardware allready and give it an 80% chance of happening


id be quite happy if this was true

i think the one game that deserves to get remade so it finally comes out here is Drac X the game is sooo damn good

i also think if the update is enough and they market this right it can be big


any thoughts

What's with Dracula X on the SNES? Is it the same game?

SNES Dracula X was a terribly castrated version of the PC Engine Dracula X...

... although i'd much prefer a new Castlevania on the PS2... being able to actually play Rondo with cool new upgrades would be pretty sweet

They won't do it because I haven't spent $100+ dollars on the PC Engine version yet.

This happened twice already with Sega, I bougth Sonic Jam... bam, Sonic Mega Collection announced!

I bought HotD2 w/ two guns for DC, *bam*, HotD3 has rumors of having the first two games in it...

SNES Drac X is decent but lies next to the B/W Gameboy games in the hierachy of quality. This sounds great but I usually don't listen to PSM. *-neo

I think it has a good chance of happening and if it happens it will probably have a good chance at getting moved to the GBA. Not a bad thing, just not the same as a TV.
