I personally think Rez's sound track sounds like ass outside of the game enviroment. I have mp3s from the sound track of a few the levels, namely Area 5. It just does not sound right the way they arranged it (It's missing my favorite part of the song, when you fight the giant space ship after coming out of the ocean).

And just to be different:

- Crazy Taxi, and to a much lesser extent part 2.
- THPS 1 and 2
- Sonic Adventure was godly, wheras part 2 only has a few notables.

Oh yeah, SC5's sound track makes my ears bleed like no other.

Eh, I thought all of the soundtrack was pretty good. The Area 5 mix, while incredibly dissapointing compared to the original, is still decent.

Grandia II is also nice, especially the last boss battle theme.

One of my favorites for sure, in fact I can't recall off the top of my head any songs I don't like from Grandia 2.

Hmm... Am I the only one not amazed by Iky's soundtrack?

Well I'm not <b>Amazed</b>, but I do enjoy it very much, though I prefer Radiant SilverGun's music to it. I still think it's overall great, just not amazing.

Shenmue I's music sucked in comparison to II's (IMO)

One more vote for JGR; I would listen to this outside.

Oh yeah, biggups (when was the last time you heard that) to Street Fighter III:TS and DI.

Gill's music in DI was absolutely amazing.

And by the way, I bought Soul Caliber in hopes that the soundtrack would be as good as Soul Blade's. It just didn't happen.

The mix used in the game is the "Don's Magical Adventure Edit" which is ironically not the one on the Rez soundtrack CD (the so-callled "Rez edit").
