pffff....i use to work at EB..and i still know the people there. if i was to buy them ALL new and unopened..i can go back to my old EB and get credit for the prices it was worth if it was sold new..even without receipt...inother words, they'll take it back as if i bought it from them..just that i cant get cash..
i can probably get $400-800 in credit? SWEETTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!d

nope never stole..got proof too..im a security guard and they do the most extensive background check..as extensive as applying for FBI job. everyone knows it wasnt me. they fired me cuz i had an ebay account and was selling my own personal videogames. to them they considered me a "competitor" and called it "conflict of interest" because we are both selling the same items..even tho i was selling saturn, snes, nes games..which EB nor my store carried.Originally posted by Kidnemo

same goes for gamestop which i also worked at..they fired me for an item i sold on ebay..FFII cart ONLY..2 months before i started working there..i bought FFII COMPLETE with box, manual and map..and never sold it on ebay. i still own it.
i could of sued both..but the money or whatever it is that i would win in the settlement would of mostly went to the lawyer and other fees. so it wasnt worth it. if i wanted my job back, they\'ll probably just fire me on 3 little things..being late for 1 min, or dress code.
so to me, it wasnt even worth it. i could of sued and be paid out of my ass as well..too bad i dont have a family member who is a lawyer..i would sue..considering they are family..they wouldnt charge me
but i aint complaining..i was in it only for the promo goodies and money in my pocket (not stealing money)..nothing more. the pay was ok..but retail is NEVER a permanent job. the commission was great when a new system comes out..but you\'ll be paid out of your ass..other than that, its nothing really good..but the work can get boring after awhile as well. the job i got now is relaxing, i get benefits..overtime WHENEVER i want, guranteed 40 hours, MORE pay and you do pratically NO work..bad thing is that it gets boring sitting for 8 hours..luckily i got my GBA and mags/newspaper to read

Just got back from EB where I traded in all four GBA games.
I got $15 store credit for Star Wars Jedi Power Battles, which I used to buy Animal Crossing.
And I got Sonic Advance for free when I used the three lesser-valued GBA games as trade-ins. They had a "trade 3 for Game X" deal with Sonic and every GBA game over $25. They also had a "trade 2 for Game X" deal for games under $25.
