I dig it.
Very stylish.

Gamespy has some interesting artwork from the artists working on Timesplitters 2. It's very wacky and not at all what I would expect from the game, guess they're just havin' some fun with the character designs.

What I wouldn't give to see cel-shaded representations of these character designs replace the current TS character designs in game...

That's a new one... a cel-shaded FPS game would certainly be interesting. And I agree, the current TS2 models are "meh" to me...Originally posted by Black Arts Viper

I'm glad to see I'm not alone in my dislike of TS's character designs. They all looked like rather drab, uninspired and anorexic entities to me...TS is a decent game, but it's a bit of a let down artistically.
I'd been wondering about what could be done to inject originality into the FPS genre one day, and I came upon the idea of a cel-shaded FPS. It could be interesting artistically and atmospherically, especially if based on appropriate licensed material.(Punisher or Frank Miller material, any one?)
Yep, the TS models look very anorexic, their necks are abnormally long and arms and legs are long too. It's a very strange style because I'm used to the id software "muscle-bound" character designs.
A comic-themed FPS cel-shaded shooter would kick a lot of ass!
