Thread: Onimusha Tactics

    Go Capcom.

The cross market between PS2/XB owners and GBA owners that want a SRPG must be huge. Magnitutes of size larger than the PS2/XB installed base, too. Definitely.

    Idiots.

    Maybe it is.

I'd venture to say a multi-million dollar corporation knows a little bit more about the game industry than somebody sitting around bitching on a message board all day.

Obviously Capcom has some reason to put this title out on GBA, aside from the "we hate 2D on consoles" conspiracy.

The reason Capcom is making it might be because they know people like you will buy it even if the game were a small wooden case with human shit inside, as long as it had the ONIMUSHA! logo on it.

Also, you're the only one who seems to believe that I'm here "all day".

Until I hear you coming up with reasons why they DIDN'T put in on a console, there's little else to what you said other than confirming that once again I've irritated you. I'm crying too, really.

  4. Admittedly the game actually looks nice and will probably be fun, but did theyr eally need to base it on Onimusha? How about a new franchise. Capcom could really use a new one(Or several) to milk.

Acutally I've never played Onimusha (which I said in my first post), so thats one strike against your happy little theory.

The reason I might buy it (depending on intial impressions) is due to:

    Nice looking sprite based graphics
    Capcom's track record
    Strat-rpgs make me tingly

What you fail to understand is if they didn't make this game on GBA, it wouldn't be made at all.

One (or ten, or fifty, or 5,000) persons crusade against companies that make games for portables is hardly going to change anything.

I'm sure some Capcom Exec is surfing the boards now, reading your posts and realizing what a folly it was to make this game on a portable.

Contrary to what you'd like to believe, good games are actually MADE on portables. Sure there is the fair share of cash-runs, but no more or less than any other format.

Well, I love the characters in Onimusha, but hate the control. So this should solve that problem nicely. Can't wait.
