On October 19th Ultra Jump Magazine will feature the first installment of a new Read or Die sequel entitled "Shin Read or Die".

Shin Read or Die (New Read or Die) will not feature Yomiko Readman as the principal character, but rather new characters from the Division of Special Operations of the Royal British Library.

Ran Ayanaga will draw the manga, while Hideyuki Kurata will do the story.

Meanwhile, it isn't known if the new R.O.D. anime is going to be based on Shin R.O.D. or if it will be a completely original story.

No Yomiko or Nancy? Eh, no biggie. ROD still owns.

Can't wait.

Yomiko or Nancy were the best part about ROD. The whole show was centered around them. Hopefully the new characters will be just as good, though my interest has dipped a bit. Time will tell.
