What's there not to understand? Yoshi's Island + Super Metroid + Super Mario World + Super Castlevania IV + Mega Man X = The only games you'll ever need to play to die happy.

SNES was the RPG king. Genesis had better action games.
SNES had better graphics but a slower processor.
GEN had 64 colours and lower resolution but faster processor.
SNES used mode 7, Gen used parralax scrolls.

It all evens out. Where the snes beats the gen in hardware(I loved the sony sound chip), the gen makes up for it in software tricks and talented developers.

Even if it does not overheat, how do we know this won't hasten the demise of the Nvidia GPU?

As for the anti-mod measures, I'll probably be buying a Japanese Xbox. Do you really need a stepdown converter with a Japanese Xbox, or is it the same story as with Japanese PS2 (you don't need one for that)?

personally i dont mind their changing things up a bit to stop pirates

i just dont like the removing of a fan or heatsink but thats me

i guess that caries over from building PCs where its my personal belief and many others that you can never have too many fans

well Gamestop is only giving 90 bucks now on trade ins for Xbox's maybe ill just offer some one 90 bucks and get an older model box with the fan

The new anti-modable models have been appearing in australia. There will probably be workarounds so stop worrying. Still haven't gotten my box modded yet. I'll probably use it to play emulated games on.
