That's because it's a format for a different system. DC memory cards also save both import and domestic data at the same time.

Parish's Zine is basically written by ex-GIA writers and Messageboard goers. He's basically part of a circle of website personalities like that ThorAntrim guy, SolidSharkey, KobunHeat and other half assed losers living in middle America.

That aside the Zine will go on for about 4 issues more or so each with a theme. I bought the MegaMan issue which turned out to be pretty good. Included was a thurough history of the series along with reviews , impressions and editorials. The contents of his first few issues are on his page. The next issue is the NES issue which I really want to see happen.

Toasty himself is annoying and his girlfirend is equally annoying and his friends are also just as annoying but for some unbeknownst reason I like reading what they say. It's a personal page so I guess it's expected but I really wish he would read what he writes before he pushes the submit button. It's also a shame that he;s become one of those people that you can predict what comes out of their mouth before they say it.

  3. Oh crap! A Mega Man issue?! I hope it's available somehow...

  4. I have written an article in one the 'zines and have been a visitor/poster on the toasty site for maybe around two years or more now. I don't know where the "losers living in middle America" idea came from, since most of these guys don't seem to be able to hold a home for more then two months. Which actually would make them losers in retrospect. One minute they are in God-Only-Knows-Where, U.S.A., the next minute they are in Tokyo. Losers.

Toasty is getting much more attention these days, and considering the amount of articles and art he has posted up, I think he deserves most of it. I just find it good to see a review site that doesn't read like it was ripped right out of a fratboy magazine like "Maxim" or "Stuff".
