It's BS. No need to be sad. He has nothing backing up his claims the games won't hit in time except his assumption that all Rare's delays had nothing to do with Nintendo holding games back for sales reasons (with their own games) or for content changes Nintendo demanded (like making Conker mature). I'm not a Rare fanatic and don't even like them much. I've always liked half their shit, and hated half, there's no fanaticism involved. I'm giving a developer with a staff of hundreds and the backing and help of the biggest software company on the planet the benefit of the doubt when they say they can pump out some games in a certain time frame. They pumped out more games than this early in N64's life, it's not so unbelievable. And as we've seen recently, Sega, MS and Nintendo are just as capable of delays.

actually rare had early dev hardware much earlier than that

its said by now theyve had GC dev hardware in some form for about 3 years

how accurate that is im not 100% sure but id put it between 2 - 3 years that theyve had it and they just got SFA out the door

mind you it was a game that was like 90% complete when it was bumped up to the GC

Kameo is something I'll definitely watch out for. I'm alot more interested in it now because I never knew it existed before. :P

Since I've never played a Rare game other than their shooters, it's pretty interesting. I'm going to pick up Starfox Adventures and see if that does it for me or not. I think Rare going to xbox is a good thing, because the majority of xbox games so far have seemed to be very poor quality PC-alike games. 2003 is looking like xbox's year, tho.

Funny because I just recently bought two Xbox games within the last week, going to buy another today, and reserve Steel Battlion. If 2003 is going to be more than this, it's going to be the year of me being broke.
