So I'm guessing MGS2 did better than 2 million? Maybe that's too generous...

In America? I think Konami initially shipped about 2 million copies, and since I would think they sold out their initial shipment, I would guess at least 2 million sales in America at least.

I know in England it broke their sales record for first week sales, but I have no clue where it ended up, nor about how well it did in the rest of Europe.
