You will never truly see bad compression until you have seen TRULY BAD COMPRESSION. Once I saw that HORRIBLE Blue Sub edited DVD, I was able to pick up all sorts of bad stuff in Digital TV.

Exactly what Master of 7s just said. The PS2 is for games... not all this other BS. The DVD support I don't mind (although I've also got a Samsung DVDN501 for DVDs and Nuon games).
