Thread: Demos demos demos

  1. Demos demos demos

So i walk into Babbages and see a new PS2 Demo. Which has a Contra video! The video rocks.. it made me laugh, it made me cry. It made me wonder what could have taken them so long to realize that this is what Contra fans want. The demo also has Wild Arms 3 on it, which was friggen boring for a demo.

Anyhoo, The Xbox rep was in the mall, and I began to talk to her. she told me about some new demo that store will have for sale, or for free.. I forget. The demo will have a playable demo of Panzer Dragoon Orta! The demo comes out in November. The Xbox kiosk also had a new demo, I noticed. With a great video of Splinter Cell. The Xbox rep also mentioned that there might not be anymore large controllers after this holiday, so be sure to get them while you can, if you like them.

Thats about it, and nifty demos in zines, or in stores that you've seen?

  2. Not much really. My GameStop had a demo of Red Faction 2 that I really wanted to try, but they always had PS2 station off And now they have Tekken 4 demo running there instead. And my EB doesnt even have PS2 station, only Xbox and CUbe ones.

I'm hoping they would get Orta demo for either try, or possibly sale. That would be great.

I will see if they got that Splinter Cell video there, since I wanna see more about that game.

  3. Mmm... obtainable Orta demo...

  5. I finally got my Timesplitters 2 PS2 demo the other day in the mail - the one that Eidos had a sign-up form for on their site.

I'm happy to report that the game is very Goldeneye-esque and will be getting my $50 when it's released. Dependent on which version is the best, that is.
