PS2 game that wont play any suggestions

anyone have any suggestions for a PS2 disc that has NO scratches on it the disc is perfect and the PS2 sees it as a PS2 disc in the browser but just wont play

yes tis be a blue disc

i thought it was that at first but i put in other blue disc games and no problem

i also cleaned the system and this one game is a no go

gamestop takes games that WERE scratched up and refurbs them at some warehouse and i think it was one of those games

but now mind you when we had the refurb machine in our store and I did the refurbing they always worked

im thnking they fucked up wonder if there is anyway to save the game

It's possible that the Data on the disc is corrupt or something. I remember reading somthing on the old GameGO! boards about boiling your discs (Dreamcast). I doubt that would do anything.

I guess you've tried it on other PS2s so my above statement is probably the case. The disc is shit. I wonder if they even test the stuff they repair.

i havent tried it on other PS2s yet but tomorrow when i go to work i will

and they probably dont we get soo many of these refurbed discs back and when i was leaving work tonight i just knew it

i said to myself i should test it there but i was like noooo itll work

damn i wonder if sammy replaces games at all

Take it back and exchange it, if you still have your receipt and you just got it within a few days, there should be no problem. If it's defective, they should even refund your money if they can't provide you with a replacement.
