Favorite anime soundtracks

Hisaishi is king. Special mentions go to Bebop, Escaflowne, Wings of Honneamise, GITS, Akira, Metropolis, Cagliostro, and my favorite- FLCL (which I'm listening to right now). Many shows/movies/ovas have a good song here and there, but I'm not going to list them all as I'm sure almost every anime I've seen has a nice song or two on it.

The ending credits theme from GTO owns your soul. I was fucking PISSED when I bought the soundtrack only for it to not be on there...

I'm not real big on soundtracks, but my faves are FLCL and Kare Kano. Lots of shows with good tracks, but those are about the only ones that made me want to run out and buy them. Well, I haven't found a copy of the Kare Kano soundtracks yet (they're OOP) so I'm putting up with mp3s.

I do enjoy Trigun very much...it's my favorite. Bebop, Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo (yes, I like the English voice versions of Tenchi OVA's, so sue me) and Dirty Pair Flash spring to mind...one reason why I really enjoy the shows.
