If it's faster it'll be too unwieldy on console (I'm talking more so then even just using a gamepad in the first place). Even at UT2k3 speed it's too fast for console, it needs to be slower.It'll be more fast paced and consoley, not a direct port.
Of course, if the auto-aim is as hysterically over-done as it was in the first on PS2, I suppose that won't matter as much. There's something about aiming in one direction and watching the rockets shoot out of your gun at more then 45 degrees to the left that had me laughing my ass off. Talk about over-compensating...

Eh, I could never get into the original, or Quake for that matter. I guess I'm just into slower-paced FPS games like CS and BF1942.
Kinda feel like I grew out of the manic frag fests...but then again I never enjoyed 'em too much to begin with.

I like Unreal Championship better. UT2003 looks better because of the high-res, but actually trash talking is much better than having it happen automatically from the character's mouth.

One thing about UC: It\'s going to be rather different from UT2k3. It\'ll be more fast paced and consoley, not a direct port. If you have a PC and a Xbox and you love Unreal, get both.
