**Newbie Alert**
I have a VERY old Sony Mini-Disc player(MZE-33). Came with shelf deck and portable player.
Anyway, I'm really taken by the convenience of this format, but I haven't really kept abreast of any MD advancements. All I know is the one I have.
How do you record .mp3s directly onto a Mini-Disc? I usually have to record the .mp3s to a disc, then transfer them to the Mini-Disc.
What is Net-MD? How is it different? Who makes them? Where can I find them?
What are OGG files? Who uses them? Will they play in normal CD players, or do you need to buy a specific player?
Damn, I haven't been this wet since.. well, you don't want to know. But I'd really appreciate some advice and insight.
Then what's the point? Why switch?Originally posted by Tain
Roughly the same size. Most songs end up being bigger, but only by a matter of a few kilobytes.
